COOPER 4WD TIRES

Fourby's recommend Cooper Tires - America's most trusted tire.

We are Australia's largest Cooper Tires outlet. Talk to us about the most suitable Cooper Tires for your fourby.

Highway Terrain 90% - Road & Sand 10% - Dirt

The deep tread, with lateral tread grooves up to 46.3% deeper than many tyres, factory-fitted with new vehicles, gives the Highway Terrain incredible grip especially in the wet. Cooper's deeper treads are made possible by the stronger steel belts inside the tyre whiche also causes less tread squirm and gives longer life.

The solid centre rib and close pitch shoulder rib improves steering response, giving the Highway Terrain much better handling.

ATR 80% - Road & Sand 20% - Dirt & Mud

Yes you can be sure Cooper’s new all terrain radial tyre (Cooper ATR) gives you even more grip off road than its popular forerunner, the Cooper AT. And yes you can be confident it excels in Australian conditions. America’s Cooper Tires fitted a Nissan Navara with a prototype set of ATR’s and sent it across Australia and back to make sure the tyres perform just as well here as in America.

Tests show the new Cooper ATR gives you 26.7% more mileage. Plus the new technology means you are even less likely to get a puncture, flat tyre or a blow out at speed. It’s technology like this that makes Cooper Tires Australia’s fastest growing name in 4x4 tyres.

Sure Trac 60% - Road & Sand 40% - Dirt & Mud

To show its commitment to making 4WD tyres that last, America's Cooper Tires responded to an "Aussie Wish List". Cooper identified that drivers in outback Australia, Argentina and South Africa share similar terrain and road conditions and experience the same damage to all terrain tyres. After a year of intense research and development, Cooper produced the first of its optimum outback tyres the Sure Trac

The Sure Trac is ideally suited for carrying heavy loads on outback roads, with sharp shoulders designed to dig so you'll find they perform exceptionally well in mud and adventurous 4WD tracks.

ST - C Cut and Chip Compound

A special addition to the Cooper ST range, the tyre that outperformed 16 other brands of leading all-terrain 4x4 tyres to be rated Australia's No.1 off-road tyre*, the Cooper ST-C has been developed specifically for customers who do most of their driving on coarse rocky road/terrain that requires greater cut and chip resistance.

The Cooper ST-C is made with selective changes to the compound of the S/T that increases cut, chip and lug tear resistance by up to 90%. A nylon overlay increases tread pattern strength and reduces belt separations - the nylon acts as a protective layer making it harder to cut through to the steel belts.

STTA3 20% - Road & Sand 80% - Dirt & Mud

Cooper's STT is now 33% stronger in the sidewalls and 2.5 times more resistant to tearing. It's the heavy duty carcass that makes the new STT so special. In a normal 4WD tyre there are rubber gaps between the sidewall cords. The rubber gaps are the weakest point of the tyre. A nail, a stake or sharp outback grass can push against the sidewall cord, deflect off and penetrate through the weakest point, (the rubber) and you get a flat. What Cooper has done is reduce the rubber gaps by taking its outstanding 2 ply STT and added a third ply on an angle (as 8 degree angle). It's called Armor-Tek3 technology and it's unique to Cooper. While some other 4WD tyres have three plies, none of them have the Armor-Tek3 angle ply.

HT Plus

Cooper has varied the tread block pitch of the HT Plus, depending on the size of the tyre, which gives the HT Plus all the qualities of a passenger tyre - a comfortable ride and extremely quiet on the road.

A solid centre rib and close pitch shoulder rib delivers a faster steering response.

Cooper's deeper, 'see-through' tread, with lateral tread grooves that are up to 46.3% deeper than many tyres, factory fitted with new vehicles, wide lateral traction slots and high sipe density, all contribute to giving you incredible grip, especially in the wet, to make you safer.

HP SPORT

The directional, 'see through' tread pattern also provides more effective water dispersion from the tread contact area which helps to resist aquaplaning, giving you more grip in the wet to make you safer.

Strong sidewalls, an attribute of all Cooper tyres, reduces the 'wallowing' effect often felt during cornering by drivers of 4WD's, and adds to the Sport HP's faster steering response. The stronger steel belts inside the tyre allow for Cooper's deeper treads and also helps handling with less tread squirm and longer tread life.

Zeon XST

The tread compound of the Zeon XST is specifically engineered to optimize all-round tyre performance. This compound's unique polymer system gives you solid wet and dry performance.

With lateral tread grooves that are up to 46.3% deeper than many tyres factory-fitted with new vehicles, and a directional tread pattern, the Zeon XST will give you exceptional grip for extreme braking and handling.
